Sonny Brogan (1906–1989) was a respected Irish button accordion player from Dublin. He was part of the early wave of the revival of Irish traditional music in mid-20th-century Ireland. “Sonny Brogan’s Fancy” is the name accordion player Tony MacMahon recorded the tune as on his 1972 Gael Linn LP.
